Lubricity improvers

Our range of SYNATIVE® lubricity improvers consist mainly of block copolymers for use in fully synthetic water-based metalworking fluids. These products offer excellent lubricity and low foaming properties, are easy to formulate, have a superior EHS profile and often provide additional benefits such as emulsion stability, improved wetting and detergency characteristics.

Our  SYNATIVE® offering comprises two block copolymer technologies for use as high performance lubricity improvers in fully synthetic water-based metalworking fluids. For further products with lubricity improver properties, kindly also refer to our Ester Base Stocks and PAG Base Stocks portfolio.

Emulsifiers

Our SYNATIVE® range consists of a broad portfolio of non-ionic emulsifiers for use in water-based metalworking fluids (soluble oils and semi-synthetic fluids). They offer miscibility with anionic and cationic surfactants, low foaming properties, hard water and electrolyte stability and other desirable properties like EHS profile can be achieved.

Foam control agents

SYNATIVE® AC AMH 2 shows excellent defoaming in neat metalworking fluids and optimal performance based on a mixture of various foam control additives. It supports air release and demulsification properties and is soluble in ester base stocks and mineral oils.

Coupling agents and solubilizers

Our SYNATIVE® AL portfolio comprises alcohols based on renewable raw materials for use as coupling agents and solubilizers in metalworking fluids. They are easy to formulate and promote stability of concentrated formulations (soluble oils and semi-synthetic fluids) with favorable EHS profile.
