Engine Cleanliness (PFI + GDI)

Engine Cleanliness - "Keep Clean"

KEROPUR^® gasoline performance packages protect the intake system of engines by forming a fluid protective film and thus preventing the formation of deposits ("keep clean effect"). This applies for both Port Fuel Injection and Direct Injection Spark Ignition engines. The cleaner engine system results in better performance, improved combustion and a longer engine life.

Corrosion Inhibition for Optimal Corrosion Protection

KEROPUR^® gasoline performance packages contain a very effective corrosion inhibitor to protect metallic parts from rust formation along the entire supply chain.

Standardisation Bodies

EN 228: Suitable fuel additives without known harmful side effects are recommended in the appropriate amount to help avoid deterioration of driveability and improve emissions control.

ASTM D4814: Beginning August 1, 1997, except for some fuel specific certifications, fuel sold or transferred to the ultimate consumer must contain detergent additive(s) meeting the EPA certification requirements.

GB 19592: Chinese National Standard on detergent additives for motor gasoline. All additives must comply with this standard and the test methods defined within.

OEMs Opinion

Combustion of even good quality gasoline can lead to deposit formation that will increase engine-out emissions and affect vehicle performance. Deposit control additives can help reduce or minimize these deposits as long as they are used properly. High quality fuel contains a sufficient amount of deposit control additives to reduce deposit formation to acceptable rates.

All gasoline grades must be treated with an approved TOP TIER™ deposit control additive at the correct concentration.
