SYNATIVE^® Ester Base Stocks

With our SYNATIVE^® ester base stocks, we offer a broad synthetic base oil portfolio with excellent performance suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including automotive, industrial, aviation, biolubricants and compressor lubricants. Our ester base oils are also ideally suited for formulating fluids for electric vehicles.
To help lubricant formulators meet the increasing demand for high lubricant performance and long product life, we offer a broad range of SYNATIVE^®ester manufacturing from renewable and petrochemical raw materials.

Esters can offer a variety of performance advantages over mineral oil and other synthetic base stocks

Esters show excellent sustainabilty features such as biodegradability, low toxicity and can contain renewable content up to >90%. They fulfil Ecolabel, OSPAR and VGP (EPA, Vessel General Permit) requirements
