HYDRAULAN^® 406 ESI by BASF is a next-generation premium brake fluid that meets and exceeds the requirements of DOT 4 and DOT 5.1, as well as ISO Class 6 and Class 7 standards. Designed for the most advanced brake systems, it delivers an extraordinarily low viscosity—more than 50% lower than standard fluids at –40 °C, ensuring exceptional brake response even in extreme cold.

This high-performance fluid is highly suitable for all vehicles using hydraulic and electro-hydraulic brake systems as well as all autonomous driving technologies. It also supports long-term system durability through superior lubrication and protection of sealants and elastomers. Approved by leading OEMs, it is also available as BMB version with renewable  raw materials for reduced CO₂ emissions.
